The villa was absolutely wonderful and far exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of space for the kids to play. They spent many hours in the pool. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated. A real home away from home. We had a week that none of us will ever forget! Villa Sereia was perfect for our family, we all had a great time and would happily recommend to anyone. Super facilities, well maintained and a great location. We didn’t need to leave the villa! We will definitely book again next year. Birgit & Jose were wonderful. Any questions I had prior to our stay Birgit responded immediately. Thank you again Birgit & Jose for making our holiday one to remember.

This is our 2nd stay at Villa Sereia and again we were not disappointed! The correspondence with Birgit before the holiday was excellent and every email was answered promptly. Upon arrival the villa was spotless and immaculately clean. As soon as we walked through the door we felt at home. The villa is very homely and has some lovely finishing touches. Plenty of space outside and inside for 11 of us (3 families). Kitchen is very well equipped, we had plenty of towels to keep us going and Margarida made sure we were happy. The pool was topped up and cleaned by Artur daily. We had the pleasure of meeting Joe and Birgit while staying in their wonderful villa & they are lovely people. A gorgeous villa in a lovely location and I’m sure we will return! Thank you 🙂

Myself and a few girlfriends booked the villa for a few days as a short break. I wish we didn’t have to leave! The villa was spotlessly clean, with so much room, yet still felt homely. It’s equipped with everything you could possibly need.

Our family holiday consisted of a group of 14 with an age range of 6 to 14 and we had the most fantastic time. The villa is spacious, clean and in a quiet location. The outdoor pizza oven and BBQ are one of the best features and we spent many a happy hour constructing home made pizzas and slow roasting large joints of meat – delicious! It’s well worth paying extra for the pool to be heated as it is heated to a very comfortable temperature. Not once did we have that chilly feeling of ‘it’ll be alright once you get in’ The supermarket, Olhos d’Agua, Albufeira and Vilamoura are all within an easy drive. We would highly recommend a stay here and the owners provide an excellent customer service.

We stayed in this property as a family of 14 with ages ranging from 6 to 77 and had a fabulous time. The villa is well equipped and spacious, the pool is a good size and the location peaceful. I would recommend a car but Olhas d’Agua, Vilamoura and Albeferia are all easy to reach, as is the supermarket. We payed extra for the pool to be heated and it was one of the best things we did as the temperature it was heated to was perfect! We used the outdoor pizza oven and BBQ constantly and it’s fantastic – we cooked a huge joint of pork slowly for 10 hours, it was delicious! We would all highly recommend staying at this property.

We have just returned from a fantastic 9 days in Villa Seriea. We went on a large family holiday, 14 of us in total. The villa is large enough that we never felt tight for space. The Villa is very clean and tidy and the outside pool area / gardens are lovely. The villa would work perfectly also for two families as both ground floor and first floor are fully serviced with kitchen and bathrooms and both also have an outside BBQ. We used the outside pizza oven a lot not just for pizzas but also for large joints of meat and they tasted fantastic. We would all like to say a big thank you for making us feel very welcome and to thank your reps for there help whenever we had any queries. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back again.

Lovely large villa as described, and a really good swimming pool. A car is needed but a restaurant, garage and a shop are within walking distance. Best food was at the Retiro do Isca, 10mins by car.

We had an absolute blast here last weekend, Stayed Friday to Monday and cannot wait to go back! Stayed as a group of 10 friends. The villa is huge and totally amazing. Birgit is so helpful and answered any questions we had. It was a trouble free booking and a trouble free stay. there is a garage within walking distance and a large supermarket a short cab ride away to stock up. Tried a local portugese on the first night which was amazing and very cheap. Second night we got cabs to the old town which is really lively and full of hen and stag parties. Had a great night. Third night we went to Villamoura which is stunning and was by far our favourite night (We ate at The Mayflower which was the best meal I have ever had!) Will be booking soon for next year, we were originally going to try different places each year as a group but all decided this will be our go to villa now each year as it was perfect! Absolutely brilliant! Stayed here as a group of 11 adults and a baby, everything you needed was here and the Siesta barn that has recently been built is one of the best additions to a villa I’ve seen, perfect for those hungover and even better for keeping little ones shaded whilst still being part of the atmosphere. The villa was ideal for those who wanted to chill out, the pool was large and with the villa being open living there was enough space to spread out but still be together at the same time. The large supermarket is about 1.5 miles away but there are a couple of small ones to get you by. The local beach is lovely and again around 1.5 mile walk with plenty of quality restaurants that offer for food for all tastes. I’d recommend the car hire that is based in Olhas De Agua and to book when you get there, we got a brilliant deal and got the car within an hour, lovely service! If you do get a car, I’d highly advise driving to the Benagil Sea Cave, one of the most beautiful sights! If you fancy some water-sports like jet skis, banana boats then the best beach is probably Albufeira, it’s a nice beach, busy but still nice. One of the nicest beaches which is about a 15 minute drive away is Sao Raphael, you can get Kayaks and paddle boards from here and it has a really lovely restaurant on the beach too. Ask the owner for the taxi company that they recommend, they’re brilliant and the longest wait we had 30 minutes but it was usually there in 5. Overall it was fabulous and I’d certainly recommend as well as return myself. Another useful tip is to buy some Oranges from the guys from the road, they’re from the local Orange grove and they taste amazing!

Birgit was so helpful, promptly answering all my questions and providing a lot of useful information about the area. The villa is well located for everything we wanted to do, a 10 minute taxi to Albuefeira Old Town and the Strip, shops and the beach in nearby Olhos de Agua, but is in a quiet area so we could just relax by the pool and the siesta barn was a treat! The villa itself is lovely, very clean and in great condition and looked as good as it does in the photos! There were plenty of UK sockets which was a big plus. It was well laid out with lots of room so you never feel like you’re living on top of each other. Definitely recommend it and can’t wait to go back!

Don’t really know where to start. Stayed here 17 times,. so I think that says it all. We have been in this beautiful place, surrounded by beautiful people time and time again- Our first holiday was just 7 of us, but since then, started going as 3 Families, then a boys only, local shooting and fishing. In 2013 we were married here, with 84 guests. The very kind and lovely Birgit and Jose (Joe) arranged the entire thing and it is a memory that we all still talk about now. We moved to Australia a couple of years ago with work, and we are only 5 minutes from the beach. But guess what, our Children still talk of “if we go back, could we go to the Villa”. And we will!

The Villa is well located with several shopping area within easy reach, It is very spacious and has very thing you require for your stay The rooms were every clean and spacious, the pool and garden area is excellent. I cannot find anything negative to say about our stay. There were 6 adults and 8 children and all enjoyed their time, totally recommend.

I’ve just returned from a holiday with my family (consisting of 3 families including 2 teenagers and two small children 5 & 2). It was our second time staying at this villa and it did not disappoint! We had plenty of space to sit together around the large, shaded outside table and plenty of space to go off quietly and read. The villa was pristine when we arrived and Margarida made sure that our stay was clean and comfortable for the duration. Artur kept the garden and pool immaculate and made sure to stay and chat! The rooms are a good size and the English sockets are a great bonus, especially if you have lots of gadgets to charge at once! The wifi was also very welcome, strong signal everywhere in and around the house! Thank you so much for such a great stay – I loved it!

From start to finish Birgit was so so helpful, answered all emails very quickly and was so lovely to deal with. The villa is beautiful, very clean and very spacious. The location is fantastic, with just a quick taxi ride to all the main places. Or a walk down to the beach – there is a small shop which has the basics, or there is an Aldi a bit further. Can not recommend enough, and I’d love to go back again!

Close enough to restaurants, bars & nightlife to be convenient, 5 minutes and €10 in a taxi to Albufeira, far enough away to enjoy the quiet and relax by the pool.

Location is perfect. About a 5 minute taxi ride to the Albufeira night life (and seemingly about just over 10 mins from Vilamoura) but quietly tucked away from the madness in an affluent area. The villa is huge, clean and superbly set out. Given the size and kind of people regularly staying there I was amazed what great condition all the furniture was in, beds and sofas extremely comfortable. As it can be split in to two it has two living rooms, kitchens and BBQs on the ground floor and upstairs so was ideal for space. We were planning on hitting the beach the day we (17 lads) arrived but ended up staying in the villa all day, more than enough to do there. The build up to our stay was superb, Birgit provided us with various documents about the villa and local area and couldn’t have done any more to make our trip as simple and straightforward as possible. Extremely reasonable and straightforward with taking and returning our deposit and always very quick to respond to emails. Would strongly recommend and shall certainly be returning one day.

Having a large family party of 16, ranging in ages from 2 to 70 we have always struggled to find a villa within the Albufeira area that meets our needs and have had to make compromises to find suitable accommodation. Villa Sereia met and exceeded all our expectations and is by far the best villa we have stayed in. On future visits to the area, we have all agreed that we would not need to search any further and it would be a pleasure to return for a second time. The villa and grounds were spotless and more than adequately equipped Both the owners and the ladies in the resort were very professional and extremely helpful.

We have just stayed in villa sereia for 14 nights – there were 9 including a 5 and a 7 Year old. Each family had their own area in the villa – one family upstairs, one downstairs then the grandparents In another downstairs room. A fantastic stay, we never felt on top of each other! The villa is newly refurbished. The pool is large and the outdoor area is spacious with a large table tennis table and outdoor fridge. The kitchen is fully equipped (blender, bread maker, dishwasher, washing machine etc.) however, there are no baking trays for the oven. The cleaner comes one a week to change the towels and clean the bathrooms then once during a fortnight to change the sheets. The villa is not at the location as specified on owners direct however, it is only 25 minutes away from the beach and supermarket. There is a small local shop 10 minutes away that sells bread, milk, fruit and ice creams. The villa is 10 minutes drive from Albufeira and 5 minutes from olhos d’agua. A great villa in a good location!

Staying at villa Sereia was a wonderful experience. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and there is a huge amount of living space so even at full capacity it never feels crowded. We spent most of our time in the outside area- the pool, pizza oven and sunshine are a winning combo. Not only were the facilities fantastic, there was a really efficient service and any requests were very quickly dealt with. I would recommend staying here for a really relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

It’s only a very short cab ride to the strip or it’s lovely enough to stay in, get the BBQ on and bring in some jugs of sangria. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Fourteen members of our family stayed at the villa with an age range of 6 to 77 and we had the most fabulous time. We cooked on it daily and some of our best efforts were amazing home made pizza’s, delicious bbq’s and we even cooked a large joint of pork slowly for over 10 hours…it was delicious! It is worth paying extra for the pool to be heated as its heated to a really comfortable temperature. You will need a car if you stay at the villa for supermarket shopping and the village of Olhos de Agua is also a little gem. Vilamoura and Albeferia are easy to drive to. There is also a nice little restaurant across the road.

Having just returned from a fabulous trip to Villa Sereia I can’t recommend this villa enough. The villa is slightly out of the main strip, and costs around €8 to get into the centre of Albufeira, taxis are easy to get as well. The villa itself has a really beautiful pool area and everything you could need from a villa, Birgit and Jose the owners were so quick to sort out minor issues mostly within an hour which is incredible. I would not hesitate in recommending this villa and would strongly advise you to book.

We travelled as a group of friends but could easily see this villa accommodating families. Despite there being 7 of us we had a bedroom each with nobody being allocated a small room. It was really clean and had a brilliantly well equipped kitchen, pool table, table tennis, pizza oven, outdoor bar, swings, playstation, even a mini gym! We met the owner on arrival who was really helpful and friendly. We were the first guests of the season and owner had just spent 4 weeks gearing the property up for the season replacing things like internal doors and buying next bedroom furniture. He built the villa himself in the early 2000s and the love that has gone into it shows. There is a restaurant on the doorstep and a garage that sells things like chocolate and magazine You are looking at 10 min taxi drive to either Albuferia or Olhos d’Agua . A taxi firm is recommended by the owner and we used them several times without problems (and quite cheap).

Really enjoyed our trip which was a late booking. Joe could not be more helpful with all the arrangements which made it very easy for us. He even called during the stay to make sure everything was ok. The villa is clean, spacious and well equipped and the pool is lovely. We were surprised by the high quality of the barbeques in the villa and had a great bbq party. There is a restaurant just over the road which was very convenient and the food was good. All in all a great holiday and will definitely be staying there again.

I went to this villa with 3 other families and had a ball! From the easy booking with the owners and regular emails to arriving this holiday experience has been very good. The bedrooms where very nice and clean with plenty of pillows, blankets etc. The bathrooms were finished to a high standard and plenty of showers/toilets for all 17 of us! The kitchen was very well equipped with all appliances from blenders to bread maker which we took full advantage of for making dough for the pizza oven outside. The garden was big enough for all of us to lounge around in the sun and sit around in the evening. The BBQ and Pizza oven was probably my fav part. The big professionally built oven made us pizza after pizza and it was lovely. The pool was heated which made a huge difference to me because I am a wimp in cold water. We travelled out to Alberferia which was only a few minutes drive so the villa is well situated. would defo recommend.

Just got back from a 7 day stay in this Villa in Portugal. What a great Villa. We had read a couple of reviews before we went that we’re very negative, but we were not disappointed. Loads of plus’s: Clean and tidy Villa and surrounding gardens Nice large heated pool loads of appliances in the kitchen (blenders, dishwasher, 2No washing machines, bread maker, toaster ect) Early check in and check out at no extra cost lots of parking lots of sun beds regular visits from a lovely English speaking couple who looked after the pool and the cleaning of the villa. We had lots of fun playing table tennis, the pool table was very popular too! The Large pizza oven was awesome and used daily! Wonderful villa, defo recommend.

Great stay with family and friends! We had a lovely time in this spacious villa with all the facilities you could ever need,. The villa itself is very large and easily fitted our group comfortably. Split into 2 parts the upstairs has a self contained kitchen and great ensuite bedroom, the bottom half which leads down to the large pool area had a large sitting room, a pool table, mini gym and fully equipped kitchen . We spent a lot of time around the pool area and made good use of the bbq and spent many happy hours in the pool. The villa was located in a quiet resort but had easy access to Albufeira and the Strip – brilliant nightlife! The local village, Olhos d’Agua and beaches were fabulous. We were well looked after by Margarida and Arture, who were very helpful and attentive. I don’t know why anyone would want to give it a bad review, it had everything we needed and we all enjoyed our stay and would happily return to this Villa. Thank you Joe & Birgit for all your help and making this a memorable stay.

Highly recommended family friendly villa. Great living space and great location close to shops and amenities. All the family was entertained regardless of age with the facilities provided with various activities for adults and kids incl. pool table, play station, table tennis, etc. A fantastic kitchen with a bonus pizza oven and bbq, great for family bonding. The kids loved it. Clean and large swimming pool accessible for all ages.

My extended family and I stayed at this villa for a long weekend. The villa itself was in fantastic condition, very clean and the beds, furniture and linens were of a high standard. The villa is very spacious and even with 13 people there was plenty of room inside. It could easily fit many more. The upstairs double rooms were particularly impressive. The pool is really lovely, although there is not a great deal of green space around the pool for sun loungers. It was a bit tight if all 13 of us wanted to sun bathe. The location of the villa is pretty good- there is a petrol station shop and a restaurant nearby but if you want groceries you really need to take a taxi. It was about 5mins by taxi to the supermarket and about 15mins to the strip in Albufiera. We didn’t mind the distance as taxis were fairly cheap. I would recommend the villa to others and hope to be back someday myself. Great value and an overall wonderful experience!

We were a group of 16, (+ 1 infant), and had a fantastic stay here. The villa is equipped with everything you need to accommodate so many people in one space. The owners were helpful from the time of booking right until we returned from our stay there. The pool is large enough for everyone and can be heated if required. We used the outdoor bbq most nights. Olhos d’Agua beach and the coastline connected to it is simply stunning. The area by the bars and restaurants is pedestrianised which is great when travelling with small children. The villa is located in a residential area which was quiet and allowed to chill out & relax after a day out at the beach or Aquashow (nearby.) Taxi’s are cheap enough to allow you to visit the surrounding areas and the large supermarket (5 mins by car) is also very cheap for food & drink. I would recommend this villa to anyone wishing to have a memorable holiday and would definitely stay here again myself. Thanks Joe & Birgit.

Very comfortable villa, great pool area and the covered dining area was a lovely place to eat and relax.. We generally stayed round the pool all day and then went out at night to eat. 3 Marias restaurant was reasonably priced and the food was good. We visited Vilamoura, Old Albufeira, Quarteria, and many more places in an evening. We had a fantastic time. The whole booking process with Joe and Birgit was so easy and if we had any problems they were soon sorted for us. I would recommend this villa to family and friends (although most of the family were with us anyway).

Firstly I would like to say how helpful Jose and Birgit were before we departed for our holiday. There were 17 of us aged from 13 to 82 and apart from 2 excursions spent most of the time at the villa. Everyone was happy with their bedroom/bathroom facilities and the villa is light, airy and comfortable. Many happy hours were spent swimming in the lovely pool, playing table tennis and on the pool table. The built in barbecue on the terrace is amazing and this is how we spent most evenings.

We had a lovely time at Villa Sereia, just what we needed. We were a family of 14 ranging from 3 – 69. The Villa was very clean & had everything you could need. The majority of the time we were swimming in the pool or eating!! We had a day out at Aquashow waterpark (only 20 mins away), it was brilliant! We would definitely stay here again & would recommend to family & friends.

The villa has excellent facilities that adequately meet the requirements for a home of this size. There is enough space to allow 16 people to either come together around the pool / bbq or spend quieter time in the smaller kitchen / lounge. The villa was adequately stocked with everything we needed for a brilliant stay. The provision of a minibus taxi driver who was flexible and accommodating meant we could travel together. We will definitely return – as we can’t say enough good things about the villa and the owners.

We travelled as a large group of mixed ages ranging from 4 years to 65 years, the villa was very spacious, very well equipped with everything we needed to make our holiday a real “home from home”. It was great to have our own pool and garden for the kids to play in and the older ones to sit and “chill” in. The barbeque was a great addition, nearest place to buy charcoal is the garage over the road! We really enjoyed staying at Villa Sereia and will definitely be rebooking.

We had a fantastic time at Villa Sereia. The villa was impeccably clean and the facilities are great. Being able to swim, play table tennis and pool before having barbeques in the evening meant it was great to stay in as well as head into the town. If we go back to Albufeira we will be staying again. Highly recommended.

I went with my whole family, all 15 of us. The villa s nicely situated and the rooms are all nice and clean. Everything you want is there, a real home from home, the pool area is fantastic and there are plenty of sun beds. And if you want a little peace and quiet there is an upper balcony to relax on. the villa is just a short walk to the beach where there are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. All in all we had a brilliant stay. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Joe and Birgit.
