Villa Sereia is luxury villa in the beautiful Algarve region of Portugal offering exclusive use of the house and its grounds. Accommodating a maximum of 20 guests, the villa is perfect for a large family or groups of friends, hen and golf parties.
Birgit and I had our first holiday together in the Algarve, Portugal the summer of 1982. Driven and ambitious, Birgit 17 and I 22, we became inspired by what was then an undiscovered holiday destination. We decided to buy a plot of land in an unbuilt new villa resort.
Using every penny we had saved, it took over 5 years to complete the project with a few hiccups along the way. In 1987, the villa was opened, accommodating our wedding guests while we got married in the Cathedral in Lisbon.
Since then thousands of hours have been spent to not only maintain but also improve both facilities and services.
We understand the importance of a family holiday having children and grandchildren ourselves, who have grown up with yearly visits to the villa. The time of year when relaxing and spending quality time together while having a trouble free and comfortable setting.
Villa Sereia has been gradually transformed over the years into a stunning villa, offering stylish and sophisticated accommodation. It is evident that the villa has not been designed for rental but with the true “home” concept in mind. A real home away from home. This wonderful villa is managed by our dear friends Margarida and Arture who, having 30-years’ experience in managing holiday homes, will make sure that your holiday will be perfect.
